Profi table strawberry production requires careful attention
to many cultural practices. Variety, selection, weed control, frost control, and winter protection are of particular importance. Renovation, fertility, and disease and insect control also are important if production is to be profi table. In addition to cultural practices, you must consider potential markets and methods of marketing before establishing a strawberry planting. Harvest labor, family or hired, and harvest supervision also need to be considered.
